Dovecote Nestbox
Spruce up your garden and give something to the wonderful small birds to use as a nesting box with this absolutely gorgeous dovecote nest box.
The roof has been made with timber shingle which have been topped with a white finial. Black steel has been added to give extra stability. Made from FSC certified timber the design of this box is sturdy and strong. There is a keyhole slot for handing and it also has an opening back to allow you to do an annual clean.
We also recommend you paint annually with a water based paint to help maintain it to a tip top condition.
Perfect for small birds such as blue tits. The ideal location to have this nest box is to have the hole north or north east facing, to help keep away from prevailing weather conditions. Have it on a tree, fence or wall at least 1.5 - 2m above the ground in order to help keep it away from cats and other predators.
