We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our team with assisting the Buying Manager with administrative tasks; the role will create great prospects to progress within the buying team.
This is a hugely varied and exciting role within a fast paced environment and provides excellent scope for a full-time role upon successful completion of the scheme.
Managing buying samples
Chasing samples and liaising closely with suppliers with regards to pricing and ensuring they arrive
Logging samples and suppliers information
Chasing cost prices from suppliers
Chasing deliveries – ensuring that they are on time
Ensuring the management of samples that have arrived and are signed off and ready to be purchased
Over time and after training you will be responsible for also negotiating prices with suppliers
Placing orders and ensuring that stock is ordered and is readily available
Attend Trade Shows · Researching competition and current markets
We would like the individual to be able to progress and support with product development.
This would include bringing forward a new idea to produce a product which is unique to The Present Finder
General administrative support, such as e-mail, telephone, producing documents
