Wireless Nest Cam Bird Box. It is not too late to put up this amazing wireless Nest Box in your garden and watch birds as they build their nest, care for their eggs and rear their young, all from the comfort of your home. This nest cam box is the ideal gift for the nature enthusiast as it provides fascinating, original and educational 24 hour entertainment. Being a wireless system it means that there's no need for cables across the lawn, through walls or over the floor, and the whole system is easily fitted (with no special skills or tools) in minutes.
The colour camera, lighting system, audio and transmitter are housed within the roof of the wooden bird box. It has a lighting system which supplements natural light when necessary during the day to give a good colour picture and switches to infra red at night (which avoids disturbing the birds while ensuring pictures continue in black and white) so you can receive clear live images 24 hours a day.
Top Tip: Site the nest box in view of a well used room like the kitchen window, so that you can see a bird enter and then start viewing the camera knowing there will be action inside! We have one of these at home and enjoyed seeing a Coal Tit lay her eggs and fledge eight chicks.
Full instructions and very easy to set up.
It is environmentally friendly - the nest boxes are made with FSC certified timber and designed in traditional style to look good in any garden or on any house. It has an easy receiver connection - simply plug in to TV or video recorder. Images can be viewed on a PC or laptop (PC must be equipped for video input - any modern computer is). It is designed to work on mains power, or batteries (8 x Duracell 'D' size standard torch batteries) which can last up to 7 months. (Batteries and electronics are in separate box [which looks like another nest box] to avoid disturbing the birds) It is equipped with a charger so that solar panels or wind generators can simply be plugged in (not included!). It has a wireless range of up to 100 metres.
Can't get it to work yet. Maybe problem with the television.
