Well according to research:Strawberries are best enjoyed with cream, as it enhances the taste. Howevercream actually causes strawberries to shrink at an initial rate of 1% every second! That means you have only 2 minutes and 50 seconds to enjoy the lot at optimum firmness!
The ultimate ratio is deemed to be 70:30 strawberry to cream. That's about one tablespoon of single cream to two fresh medium strawberries.
Should you get your proportions wrong, well, too fewer strawbs and you're in danger off an overly creamy pud, too little cream and you could fall prey to unwanted tartness. Cleary it's a very delicate situation so best get your measuring jug out!
