Zip Wire Kit. Have you ever wanted to fly through the air? The Zip Wire or Flying Fox is the perfect solution, allowing you to whizz through the air for up to 20 metres (66ft). Fix the cable ends to two sturdy trees, allowing a clear flying path in between. The durable zip wire cable (3 mm) will take a weight of up to 102kg (16 stone). We have a Zip Wire or Flying Fox at our house and it is very popular with children aged 3 - 63!! (Although it states it is suitable for ages 8+ on the box). The zip wire does not need a sloping garden - in fact you can just have two trees or posts of the same height. It includes a tensioner, but if you let the wire sag a little the children shoot down the slope and then as they reach the end of the wire they slip back to the lowest point at the centre. In the US these are called a ''Flying Fox''.
