Q. Do we include prices when we send a gift to someone?
A. NO we don't! We are very sensitive to the fact you are buying a present and you do not want the recipient to see how much you paid for it. Nor do we send them a catalogue. We are also very careful when we leave messages - not to give away any surprises. If you are sending an item to yourself then we do include a full VAT receipt.
Q. What are our shop opening times?
A. Our shop at 37 Cheap Street, Sherborne (opposite Costa Coffee) is open Monday to Saturday 9.30 am to 5 pm (Tel: 01935 389001). Our Warehouse Shop in South Western Business Park is open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. From October to December the Warehouse Shop is usually open on Saturdays but we suggest you ring us first on 01935 815195 to check that we are open. Please phone us on 01935 815195 if you would like to visit outside these hours as we are often here packing parcels and we would love to see you!
Q. Can I choose several different delivery destinations in one order?
A. YES! Simply choose all the items you wish to buy and add them to your basket. Proceed to Checkout. Just before you enter your delivery details, simply select those items you want to send to the first address, confirm, then select the next batch and so on for as many different delivery destinations as you like. You can even send some of your items abroad and some to the UK in one order.
Q. Can I send items overseas?
A. Yes - we send most of our items to most countries in the world including BFPO. If the destination is outside the EU we automatically remove the VAT. If there is a country not listed, please ask and we can usually add it to our list!
Q. Can I order via Telephone?
A. You can order via Telephone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 0844 557 0280. All you need is a description of the product or if you have our catalogue you can use the item number.
Q. Can I order via Post or Fax?
A. If using the internet is scary and you don’t want to talk to one of our helpful telephone operators then you are welcome to order via Post or Fax. Simply use the order form in the back of the catalogue and pay with either a credit/debit card or send us a cheque made payable to The Present Finder Ltd. If you don’t have a catalogue, simple fill in the form by clicking ‘Free Catalogue’ on the home page or call our Customer Services team on 01935 815195.
All orders are processed within 24 hours of receiving your order and despatched using your chosen delivery time frame.
Q. Can I have my order Gift Wrapped?
A. Gift wrapping is available on certain item and is charged by the item. If you have any problems with this function, please call our Customer Service team on 01935 815195.
Q. How will my order be despatched?
A. Orders are either despatched via Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class or via courier. Delivery method is chosen dependant on the size, weight and value of the order and is subject to stock availability. If your order is despatched via Courier, a signature is required but if you are not home, our courier will attempt to deliver to one of your neighbours and they will put a card through your door to let you know which neighbour has taken the delivery in for you. If a signature cannot be achieved, they will put a card through your door so you can arrange a redelivery.
Q. How do I return item (s) to The Present Finder?
A. This depends on a number of criteria:
